<License> Thou shalt not hurt little fluffy rabbits </License>
Are there any software developers reading this? (apologies for the primitive tag depiction – I am not a developer) Any software developers that would like to ensure their hard work doesn’t go towards harming humans or animals?
You now have a free and open-source legal text to insert into your coding for this very purpose.
The Harm-Less Permissive License (HPL) is the first-ever license that will prohibit the use of software being used in any way that will harm humans or animals.
Modern equipment in slaughter houses and fishing vessels depend more on technology and computer software all the time, so the fact the HPL exists now is brilliant.
