Vegan Lifestyle

Being a Vegan isn’t just about not eating any animal products – it stretches to all aspects of your life.

The Vegan Society

If it uses any animal products or by-products at all, we try not to have anything to do with it. I say “try”, as avoiding these items sometimes like the plague can be unnecessarily difficult, and causing too much fuss will only give Vegans a bad image. In the world we live in, you can only do your best, and use your common sense – no point refusing to sit on someone’s couch because it’s leather, or throwing out your friend’s candles because they’re made from bee’s wax! As long as you’re not contributing to animal suffering and you’re showing everyone else that it isn’t as hard as they think, you will be helping in “the bigger picture” and hopefully start a few others on the road to being a Vegan.

Along with our homemade organic recipes, we do buy off the-shelf products too. There is some fantastic food out there.

The single biggest thing you can do to reduce your Carbon Footprint, is become a Vegan. The second biggest cause of Greenhouse Gases is the agricultural industry, producing more gases than every automobile, train and plane put together.
